Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor and the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. She was the first Olympic gymnast with the most medals. Her gold medal in the Olympics in 2016 was her second gold in a row for the US team. This made her, along with fellow teammate Gabby the first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. She also won silvers in individual all around and floor exercises. Between her two Olympic Games her break was taken. She also was part of gold-winning American squads at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died from cancer. She hopes to build an enviable career as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature, socks and other items will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
